Molly Elizabeth

Welcome and thanks for dropping by!
I’m Molly, a multimedia storyteller dedicated to crafting narratives that inform, engage, and inspire. My journey began in New England, where my mother, a former librarian, instilled in me a deep love for storytelling. That passion has shaped a career spanning journalism, strategic communication, marketing, and filmmaking—each medium offering new ways to connect with audiences and bring stories to life.

With over 15 years of experience, my work has been featured in publications like MetroWest Daily News, Cambridge Chronicle & Tab, and The Concord Journal, earning recognition from the New England Newspaper & Press Association (NENPA) for excellence in feature, social issues, and environmental reporting. I thrive on making complex topics accessible and compelling, whether through in-depth investigative pieces, human-interest profiles, or multimedia content.

As Associate Director of Communications at Emerson College’s School of Communication, I lead the development of editorial strategy, branding, and digital storytelling initiatives. I oversee content creation across social media, web, and print platforms, ensuring that the school’s voice is dynamic, authentic, and impactful. My role also involves fostering relationships with faculty, students, and alumni to highlight their groundbreaking work and global contributions.

Beyond journalism and communications, I am a filmmaker drawn to stories that challenge perspectives and evoke deep emotional resonance. My directorial debut, The Home Front, explores the devastating impact of the opioid epidemic on small-town America. Inspired by personal experiences navigating the impacts of loss from addiction within my own community, the film aims to foster dialogue and humanize those affected by the opioid epidemic and the grief it leaves behind.

At my core, I believe in the power of storytelling to bridge divides, spark meaningful conversations, and create lasting impact. Whether through the written word, digital media, or film, I am committed to bringing stories to life with depth, authenticity, and purpose.
